Job Title: Controller
Role: Responsible for organization, management and control of all financial aspects of Central Florida Help Desk
Reports To: CEO
Location: Leesburg, FL
Scope & Responsibility:
- Process daily timesheets
- Process all invoices daily
- Management all deposits
- Manage accounts receivable
- Make all entries into QuickBooks accounting system
- Monitor free cash flow and bank balance
- Provide analysis of efficiency of departments and individuals throughout the company
- Work with CPA to perform reviews and audits
- Be the “eyes and ears” of the CEO, anticipating financial problems and opportunities and providing advance information
- Personify “confidentiality and integrity” in all of your dealings with colleagues, clients and suppliers – be willing to sign a confidentiality agreement
Background Required:
- Quick grasp and ability to understand the business of Central Florida Help Desk
- Superior organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communications skills
- Proven track record of multi-tasking, doing the hands on work of bookkeeping and accounting
- Passion and motivation
- Education Req’d: College diploma
Salary: $450 per week
Other comp: Discretionary bonus
Metrics
- Days to close books at end of month
- Daily cash flow analysis
- Weekly chargeability analysis
- Days sales outstanding (DSO) – accounts receivable
